OUTER BEINGS is one of the few levels I personally have a personal connection to, and I love this level so much. When I asked rustere to use my song, I did not think he would make a level that was this perfect for the song, especially considering how he hadn't created in a while. It was great to see him knock off rust as I watched the creative process when he would update me and I just noticed how creative of a guy he is. Anyways, enough with the backstory and onto the level. The level itself is a really fun and playful usage of the song, with good gameplay and even better visuals. It is easy to get distracted by the singing aliens and the rockstars behind and get lost in the extraterrestrial music scene displayed here. The gameplay itself plays well, with a good amount of variety and great sync. There are some visuals that obstruct gameplay a good amount in later parts that I think could be cleaned up a little, but other than that, it is fun to play. These aliens are cursed, so they say, but I love what the level does here in tying in the aspects of the song with the level itself. The drums to the singing to the synths, it ties it all into this space symphony. There is a bit of shader abuse in some parts with the blur, but it doesn't affect playability that much. It's just a cute and fun-filled level and I really hope others in the future see it the way I do.
