Oddly underwhelming and ineffective for what it is
This level's over-the-top visuals and effects work strongly in its favor. With obvious (and credited) inspiration from levels like find the answer and Out of This World, Avod uses lots of parallax and chromatic aberration to make their experimental decoration pop even more. The unique block design of the ship and wave parts from 14% to 28% stands out to me as some of the coolest I've ever seen, using 2.2 mechanics to their fullest potential.
I love the high-gravity gameplay of the robot and ball parts from 28% to 56% as it makes for a lot of interesting timings that force the player to break their habits of how the gamemodes typically work, although I feel that the decoration is a little lacking throughout the robot. Overall, while I find it fun in isolation, I think the gameplay of this level needs some balancing, especially towards the end; both cube parts and the ending swing both feel substantially easier than the rest of the level. However, I do believe the generally slow-paced gameplay combined with the chaotic decoration represents the song very well, and the 2x speed cube works well as a climax to the level.
Ultimately, while it has some dips in both gameplay and decoration quality, if words could speak is a beautiful cacophony of chaos, and it leaves me feeling excited to see what more Avod has in store for the future.
super fun and really cool usage of everything :D
