Review written 6/3/2025
In February 2025, Split72 and I were talking in the Viprin + Paste Discord server and I suggested she make a level using the song "Let Me Out Of America" by Cacola, as I am a very big fan of the song and I knew that the beginning of the song would work great in a modern level like what Split72 makes. For about two months, I did not think much of that suggestion, until about late April, when I noticed that Split72 actually made a level using my suggestion! Naturally, I was pretty excited to check it out, and it's a fine level. But now it's time for me to actually review this thing instead of yapping about the level's backstory or whatever.

ILTCAILTBBACAPAC, which stands for I Love To Cook And I Love To Bake, Bread And Cookies And Pies And Cakes, is a level by the top 1 creator and fellow Pennsylvanian Split72. Like most of her levels, the level is a modern level with colorful and simple designs and backgrounds, and this level can be "split" into 4 parts: 0-32%, 32-65%, 65-82%, and 82-100%, with the first and second parts being relatively similar to each other and the same being true for the third and fourth parts.
The first part is pretty simple, consisting of simple block designs and these blocks from 2.0 that I like kinda like supporting the blocks or whatever. The spike design is very simple. For air deco we have these circle thingies that use area fade as well as these unique and simple saws. But that is too much just summarizing the level, I need to give my opinions on it: this is a nice part. I don't really have anything negative to say about this part other than it is a bit on the simpler end (although this is normal for a Split72 level). I do like these three sort of like catlike creatures that appear over 3 different jumps in the cube part, as well as the random Petey the Piranha art that's on one of the blocks (although I do not know why it is there). It then goes into a wave with the same simple decoration, and my only gripe here is that some of the 2.0 blocks are solid and some are not (like at 14%), and there is no way to tell them apart apart from their hitbox or lack thereof.
The second part retains some elements from the first part, such as the circle thingies, saws, background, and default spikes, but has an entirely new block design. It's also a cube part, which I'm not the biggest fan of as there just was a cube part, but it's not the end of the world, especially seeing as there's also a UFO part. I don't have much to say that I didn't already say in the first part, but what I do have to say is that I also like this part's block design, albeit it is a bit too much copypasted (but who am I to complain? I do the exact same thing lmao).
At 63%, there are a few shaders that sync well to the song and then hide everything but the cube, which signifies the end of part 2 and the beginning of a small transition part that is pretty much identical to that one part in Cycles, in fact so identical to the point where both parts pointlessly turn you into a cube for a second before going to the next non-cube part. Not much to say here, but i guess this shader transition is cool.
Now it's actually time for the third part, a spider part that I find to be harder than the rest of the level. It is also probably my favorite part, as I like both the rainbow area fade blocks and the long gradient blocks and the effects at the top and the bottom of the screen and the pulsating air deco and pretty much the entirety of everything in the part save for the difficulty spike and the subpar song representation (it feels a lot of Split72's levels suffer from song representation that is not the best), and also the colors do not go together the best but they are not bad; if they were bad this wouldn't be my favorite part. I really don't know what else to say here, so let's move on to the last part.
The fourth and last part is a small ship part with simple block designs consisting of spikes that use the same area fade trigger as the rainbow blocks from the previous part, combined with funky outlines that remind me of Love Valiant 2 by bollardills melX0exe and lumpy (although I feel Love Valiant 2 did it better). I don't really know what else to say about this part other than it's fine I guess.
All in all, this is a fine level. However, it is certainly not Split72's best, and I somewhat disagree with this level's Feature rating and would personally consider it to only be deserving of a Rate. This does not in any way make this a bad level or one that I hate; it is a good level that I like, but there is certainly room for improvement in all four parts. Part of me wishes the level was a bit longer than its runtime of 77 seconds, although I will not complain about it as 77 seconds is a perfectly fine length for a rated level and also complaining about things in a level that I suggested the song for just makes me feel like a dick for lack of a better term, and I do not want to be a dick whatsoever.
I'm excited to see what Split72 brings to the table in the future!
