This would have been really good if not the wave at the drop being very hard and odd to the rest of the level, it would be a good replayable level if that is not a big deal.
Lily has a sense of grandeur rarely seen in 2.0 levels. Heavily inspired by undertale it takes some of the feelings the game captures, being an outsider in this terrifying, dangerous but also incredibly magical world, a world youre thrown into after all the battles already took place and whats physically left are the ruins, a gray sky and shattered sheer black structures. With this incredibly crafted atmosphere, you get a thrilling experience and a memorable 2.0 art level.
Imagine what Lacheln tried to achieve but the quality didn't die after 40 seconds
rayoriens is just one of the most interesting old school creators to me and maybe thats because were both vietnamese but also because its hard to overstate his uniqueness as a creator. pretty much entirely underappreciated in his time and still is today (even when he has seemingly developed a small cult following overseas) but rayoriens is one of the only creators i know who always finds a way to put his own distinct touch on an idea even if it wasnt original. like how his spin on classic nine circles with a very cavernous feel that i dont think was replicated since, or that he made the first ever documented bossfight level
, and maybe sometimes that turns out to be a pitiful wiff instead of a colossal homerun but rayoriens is uncompromising and thats what i love most about his levels. its sometimes even frustrating to look at but when he swings, he swings hard
