Admittedly, only taking 2896 attempts in total (learning included) to beat Falling Up heavily influenced my high gameplay score here. But I did get unlucky still, dying 7 times to the last dual. But it was all worth it because this might be my favourite extreme demon in the game. Incredible visuals for the time, with said visuals still looking very good today. A few spots are lacking in detail, but I can forgive that because this level somehow manages to squeeze itself into 2.0's 30k object limit.
The gameplay is very very satisfying the whole way through, and everywhere but the last dual becomes incredibly consistent with time (to the point where in my last session of playing the level, I had two dual deaths in a row at some point). This is why I can forgive the last dual being so difficult compared to the rest of the level, because you can consistently get there if you've played the level enough. Also, as hard and as buggy as it is, there hasn't been any other dual in this game that's even come close to how batshit insane (in a good way) this dual is. The fact that it works at all is a miracle honestly, and it's a testament to how creative KrmaL is with his gameplay.
