this level holds a very special place in my heart for a lot of reasons

the main reason is that the first time ive ever been on the news (gdtoday) was because of this level. "22,222 stars and 222 demons on 2/22/22" is kinda the coolest thing ive ever done in this game tbh i might have peaked there. i was originally gonna do troll level but i couldnt beat it in time as it was too hard so i quickly scrambled to find something else to do instead and decided to do eff. returning back to this level, i decided to actually watch and play the level with all my biases removed and its honestly really good for its time. i think the designs and backgrounds work really well with each other and is probably endlevel's best early 2.1 level. the gameplay is also just astonishingly good despites its balancing, it flows so well and the click patterns are just incredible to execute. the level is also made a lot better by the song and that leads into my next reason for why its so special. i didnt discover bo burnham through this level but ive known him and have been a fan for a very long time, so to find a level that uses one of his best songs was really cool. not to like, trauma dump or anything but near the time i beat eff i would keep getting bullied by my friends and random gdtwt users for liking bo burnham and having him as my most streamed artist so i decided to try and force myself to stop liking him. i havent listened to a single burnham song in like almost 2 years now, and idk what to think about the whole situation, like do i regret it or not care. really not sure, but i do think i killed a big portion of the true theatre kid inside me. the reason i tell this story is kinda the 3rd reason why this level is special to me, as its sorta the one thing that theatre kid part of myself can still hold onto in secret, because i do really love this level
