Just worse lit fuse, the buildup to the drop is way shorter making it less impactful, the gameplay I found quite a bit worse especially in the predeop, I LOVE lit fuses predrop it is so perfect in everything especially gameplay and this level butchering it really makes it more obvious. The drop structures look really odd to me and The original part this level adds just hurts my eyes, the black glow really didn't have to cover the screen

Definitely one of the more faithful remakes out there. In Lit Fuse, I always thought it was a bit weird how loosely structured some sections of the drop were, and while Explosion addresses some of those minor criticisms I had with the original, I feel like some of the more subtle details and character got lost in translation - like the background elements in the first part only being visible during the pulses, or the ship movements matching the song. The drop here also doesnt feel nearly as climactic due to the much shorter predrop, but I gotta say adding the outro section was a good choice. This level had a pretty good blueprint to follow, and as such it turned out pretty solid, but it doesnt have the impact Lit Fuse had.

It's the same thing as Lit Fuse but I don't think it's necessarily that much worse
