Really not a fan of the muddy shading and the staticness surrounding the designs, the structuring and color usage of these kinda levels are incredibly unique and so it’s a shame most of them end up falling into the same big blob

Hell yeah! A Phantom of the Opera themed level is just what I've always wanted! Anyways I'm still trying to wrap around on what I even just played here.

Cool design and theming, excluding the abundance of glow and it looking noticeably dated for its time, but oh my god was the gameplay a mess. Not only are there a number of laughable skips you can do for how poorly the level is stitched together, but it basically has my least favorite kind of unsight-readable gameplay; blind clicks and constant speed transitions. On top of the fact that all of the speed portals are hidden, so it just makes it hard trying to get consistent with whatever inputs you're trying to do (30% is one of the dumbest jumps I've ever seen because of the invisible speed portal that always throws you off), and it started to feel like I was more throwing darts at the level than trying to get any sort of enjoyment from it. I'll give that I did enjoy playing the second half more than the first, but that part also struggles with the same problems as the latter, and that short swing part at 75% has some really dumb invisible hitboxes that don't even match the deco at all.

The level thankfully didn't take me forever to beat from 0%, so I guess it could've been a much worse experience. But I don't know, I wasn't getting that much enjoyment from either practicing or playing from 0%, and the whole thing really felt like a bunch of ideas that just didn't flow well with the end product. Really disappointed in this one.
