The Golden's strongest aspect is easily its gameplay. Its incredibly fair, no bullshit, all difficulty. Not many levels manage flow this nicely while remaining entirely skill based and satisfying to pull off - the deco is sadly a huge a mixed bag for me. I always imagined the level is supposed to represent a journey through the jungle as you set out to find the lost city of El Dorado, which fittingly serves as the levels endscreen - the journey's end. Would be pretty cool, which is why its strange that the level barely even attempts to communicate a theme. No foliage, no vegetation, nothing - most creators just went for a traditional design style, and while I do like some parts like EOTS or Bo, most just arent that interesting. This level is not as good as the layout deserved.
