Funny to think this level is getting more attention thanks to the Random Wave Challenge.
I didn't have the best expectations going into it as it really doesn't look like a level that I would ever be interested. So I'll give it this that it was slightly better than I thought it wouldn't be, but not without a lot of flaws too. It's hard and very wave carried, but the level can get pretty consistent once you figure out the clicks patterns to each wave part, and they do end up pretty fun in the end.
My problem with the level is that a lot of the transitions aren't very great. You of course got the 89% transition, but I honestly thought the ones at 48% and 80% to be just as bad. It overall makes the ending very chokeable with the added chokepoints and transitions, as well as the inclusion of the two very jank UFO parts at 84% and 92%. No surprise I ended up being super unlucky dying to the end quite a lot, especially for how much the predrop drains any of your consistency. This is because the predrop, while marginally easier, just felt pretty all over the place and a lot of clicks were very awkward for some reason. Can't forget my favorite thing ever being inverted slopes at the 22% ship.
All-in-all a decently fun level, but with the additional chokepoints, annoying predrop, and the deco being very whatever does hold it quite down for me.
