GAMEPLAY

(Completed in 3/26/25)

Just kinda your typical 2.1 art and effects megacollab in which each part is completely different from the other with little to no cohesion, though at least the parts do look really good individually. The gameplay is a huge mixed-bag however. It feels like the kind of gameplay you should be able to be comfortable and consistent with after enough practice, only for the level to slap you in the face when you suddenly die in the most random spots that shouldn't even be possible.

The balancing is your typical "hard sections only at the middle with the beginning and end being free," and while a lot of parts aren't necessarily all bad, some just have one or a few really short yet annoying sections that kill any progress you make playing it from 0%. The 48% transition just never works for some reason and I can't get myself to know why. You either don't even need to click the black orb, or you are forced to click it but you'd die anyway for how off your icon is reaching the orb. Other parts like Ilrell's, CastriX's, and Zorua's part also feel rather inconsistent, and can get really annoying fast.

I will give the level this on, while the dual ship is possibly the hardest part and takes some time to learn, it does get consistent to get use to and it is quite a cool section even if it is harder than any other part. Other than that, I really wanted to enjoy this one more, but it's not to say I hated it in the end. Just kinda frustrating and rather inconsistent with some unfortunate sections.
