Peripheral by velvetsune is an interesting collaboration from 2.1. The gameplay is highly sync based, with pretty simple but clean designs and a consistent color scheme. The gameplay itself is pretty enjoyable, with only a couple quirky clicks. The designs vary but still keep pretty simple, and follow a tight but easy path, above which is some fitting visual to tie the parts together. Empty space is used quite well in all parts, and block designs tie with the backgrounds quite well. There is some variation in part quality, but there are some parts here I really enjoyed. The first and second parts have fun gameplay with nice little gimmicks, and the fourth part has an awesome falling piano tiles graphic. The small details really stand out in this level due to its simplicity, and it makes for a clean and balanced level. It seems the song was taken into account by each of the creators with their own interpretation of it. Although it's not very eye-catching, it still makes for a nice experience.
