I love the gradual tone shift throughout the level as the danger becomes more apparent. It's not immediately apparent during your first practice run that the level takes place in some sort of evil fortress, but after you've already seen all the traps and the giant mech in the second half of the level, everything seems that much more obvious. It also works really well with the music.
