No other whiplash any gauntlet would ever give will top going from a 5 star, to an 8 star. The judges could’ve AT LEAST picked one or two 6-7 stars to keep things consistent.

That complaint aside, this one is…still good enough. It just looks like your typical Debihan level with it having this overly futuristic-looking style and the camera being a far distance away from the player in order for you to see the whole level in its entirety. I do find this more tolerable to play than their last gauntlet level Quebranter, which is a great level that didn’t necessarily have my favorite gameplay. Surprisingly a lot more straight-forward and sight-readable for an 8 star level too.

This one I do want to appreciate more for where it aims its ideas, having this inspiration from Subnautica where you visit this obscure planet with these strange yet wonderful creatures. It does give the level an extra cute vibe to it and I give props to how Debihan designed most of these funny critters and robot companions wandering around the level. I do have my complaints on the song choice, but it’s not to say the song is bad either.
