Illusion by Dverry (Doge) is a 1.9 level which became very popular, for very good reason. I would personally call Illusion revolutionary for its time simply because of the line effect in the first ship part. Even if it's not that hard to make now, or even back then, it was one of the first times an effect like this had been so well made to a degree. Usually levels when doing animations, would have a black background so they could just make it black and it would blend it, however this one has an extremely bright background behind it so you can see it move in all its glory!

The rest of the level isn't much to write home about, however I do really like the appearing blocks to the song, it's a really nice touch. It's a level that if you played back in 1.9, like me, you definitely have fond memories of how cool it looked and potentially trying to do it yourself! And failing.

It's a classic 1.9 level and I feel it definitely paved the way for people to experiment more with effects!
