builds tension like absolutely nothing else. the suspense in the first part lasts just the right amount of time and the release through the cube literally falling through the part into hell is actually fucking terrifying!!! the level being 3 minutes long and only really having two main sections, one of which is brought back for the last part, makes the designs changing a genuine surprise, with the falling transition almost resembling a jumpscare. it's just too good
