I imagine babinga 8 the snow is an introduction to experimental styles for a good amount of people present in the GD community around 2020, including mine. This is mainly thanks to para’s review on it, which has left a huge impression on me due to the idea that controlled incoherence and surrealism in a level is a method to make it beautiful being introduced to me for the first time

As for the level itself, it is nothing too standout today as expected for being one of the progenitors to a popular method of level creation. However some very ominous features of this level make it generally succeed at capturing a surreal feeling. I do wish that the first part fit in more with the rest though, as the pixelated blocks are pretty different from the rest of the level using lines and patterns within each block
