This level is fine but forgettable. It has an amazing concept, reflecting on the hardest demon of the 2.1 update before moving on to the next update which is definitely cool. However in execution, it is very lacking.
The most obvious flaw here is the length. A level like this has no business being this short it's like 50 seconds long, it has no time to develop whatsoever. And the other I have with this level is the visuals. You can tell the creator hasn't made the original levels he remade because they look nothing like their original counterparts. The gameplay is remade to fit into the level and for balancing. However, they don't play like the original levels and lose charm and energy due to that and doesn't work as much in this context. The decoration as the exact same problem but is worsen by the consistent style. The different parts just feel like the same style but with a different colour most of the time and doesn't represent the original levels in any capacity and instead looks like generic flow deco. For a level that is trying to remake iconic levels, the creator definitely made sure to remove anything iconic from the levels he took from. Lastly, the song. The song, as I said in the review of Ultimate Demon Mix, has potential to work very well in a level mix, but not for this one. This one decided to remade the hardest demons at the time and Ultimate Destruction doesn't seem to be the song that reflects that the most. In fact, it detracts more than it adds because it feels like it generalise and remove any menacing aspects these levels have thanks to their status, if that make any sense. It would have work way more if the levels chosen are levels of easier difficulty and of different time but it is not the case here.
In conclusion, good concept with bad executions. Had a lot of potential but because of the creator vision, falls flat in every aspect. It ends up as just a fine and unremarkable level.
