This level is actually super annoying to play which is why I lowered my score (was a 9 before). The waves are so much worse than I could’ve ever imagined. They are so unintuitive bc you need to do multiple triplets in a row but they are also super unnatural bc those triplets are not even synced to the music. You have to do them ever so slightly faster than you think you should them which is super annoying and frustrating to figure out.

But honestly, once you get the hang of it, it just becomes a funny chokepoint that you would expect to die multiple times to and doesn’t bring down the drop that much.

No the real reason to why I lowered the score is because of this god forsaken predrop which is terrible. It has so many chokepoints and unnatural sequences of clicks and because of that, you rarely get to the drop which is by far the best part of the level. The sync in the predrop is also questionable which idk why a layout based on sync wouldn’t sync that part as well. But yeah, those dumb ass timings bring this level down for me.

Still has some amazing things though. I still think that the drop is super fun to play even though it still has some issues and I also think the sync and song representation is awesome. Visually, it is also very charming with those interesting structures and movements and also the visual style, which does a good job at replicating the vibe of the original layout.

But yeah, the predrop fucking sucks, even though it is arguably easier than that one wave, it just plays like shit and turns the experience around for me. A level that was supposed to be super fun becomes a boring level carried by stupid chokepoints in the beginning which serves as a gatekeeper to the fun part.

I give it a 6.5/10, I gave it a 7 instead of a 6 because I can still recognize the amazing things that this level contains, it just has too many flaws for me to give it a higher score.
