A unique gameplay experience on account of being genuinely difficult to focus your eyes on, which is really cool. The in-between parts being so flat and static are great as contrast and to make it reasonable to play the level for an extended sitting without straining your vision too much. Outside of this gimmick, the level has strong fundamentals, and the very good music sync helps to offset the difficulty of keeping track of your position on the screen. It falls off a little in the second drop, which is not as effective at being difficult to look at and (particularly in the last ship) feels like a slight break in aesthetic cohesion, though I like the use of red and the unstable curved lines on the floor and ceiling
