CASINO BLITZ (ALL CAPS when you spell the level's name) is the best level OAT, here's why.

Gameplay:

The gameplay of CASINO BLITZ is definitely some of the most unique that we have gotten from all of 2.2, and definitely of Geometry Dash as a whole. It effectively blends learny and flow styles of gameplay across its two-minute runtime to create what I think is a genuinely fun experience for beginner and skilled players. The level's first and second parts are comprised of simplistic cube and ball gameplay - this is probably 6* difficulty. The third part is the UFO, where four pillars of dice are ahead of you. At random (This level uses a lot of random gameplay!), one number can be passed through (indicated by an opacity shift). The fourth part is a robot part, building up to the drop. The fifth part has a roulette in the background, which may land on (including but NOT limited to): Disco, Cool Hat, Death, Safe, Jackpot.

Disco/Safe - Nothing. Disco shows the ID of "DISCO BLITZ".

Death - Kills you.

Cool Hat - You get a cool (TM) hat.

Jackpot - You win 5 credits! This is the only one (other than DEATH) to impact gameplay.

Now for the drop. The drop begins with some fast-paced cube (and briefly, wave) gameplay to match the song. The first coin can be found in the cube section. A transitional cutscene shows (seemingly) the player in a game of poker with the likes of Scratch. Now comes the most iconic, and most flashy part of the level: THE GAMBLING DIMENSION! The gameplay here isn't very straightforward and you might need a practice run. After THE GAMBLING DIMENSION!, you go back to some slower gameplay, constantly switching between modes. The second coin can be found here (around 50%). The gameplay keeps switching from fast to slow until the card section. Here, there are structures designed like playing cards. The third coin can be found shortly after this. This is the 2nd-to-last major gameplay section in CASINO BLITZ, as only the finale remains.

The ending: Directly after the cards, there is a spider section with four credits, You must pick up at least three, regardless of if you got the Jackpot. A few seconds later, a slot machine shows 4 different logos, corresponding to 4 different creators.

Toomis - Colourful part with signage everywhere.

Danke - Yellowish part with very flashy visuals (LDM recommended for this part)

Epxa - Simple part with structures inspired by playing cards and pool balls.

Fault - Greyish part with well-synced gameplay. I recommend practice for this.

But there is a pretty interesting twist with these final parts, and how they play. Each attempt, the four parts play in a randomised order. This means the 1st part on one run may become the 2nd, 3rd or 4th part of another, and vice versa. Yet again, CASINO BLITZ's creators show how random gameplay should be made (Skeletal Shenanigans...).

Visuals:

If you couldn't tell by the level's name, CASINO BLITZ is obviously themed after a casino and casino-adjacent games. Despite the fact that this is a collab, each part seamlessly flows into the next, and the style is pretty consistent too. The art in the level is obscenely high-quality, with a bunch of easter eggs throughout. This is why it says "Good Levels" near the beginning. I won't delve too deep (unlike the gameplay), but you should check it out for yourself.

Cool mechanics:

This will mostly detail the "credits" and coin routes.

1st coin: In the 2nd ball (after title card), do not hit the dash orb, this will take you to another path. You will get a gun! Continue predrop as normal. First drop cube requires a different click pattern from usual.

2nd coin: In the buildup ship, you must hit a button. A statue will hurl a golf ball at rapid speed. Continue predrop and drop (until TGD) as normal. The coin is just up ahead.

3rd coin: The hardest coin, I have only obtained it once (because I suck). The requirement to get the coin is that you make 21 using the card structures. There are multiple ways to do this. Afterwards, you'll be given the coin.

CREDITS

Credits can be obtained throughout the level and have a purpose. Their locations will be briefly shown.

Jackpot - 5 credits

Coins - 2 each (6 total)

Drop - 1 coin

Spider part - Up to 4 credits.

This adds up to 16 credits maximum per attempt (assuming perfect RNG).

After the gameplay, there's the slot machine. Holding will skip it entirely.

You may use credits in order to gamble for any coins you missed during your run.

There are three possible results.

Mixed - Nothing happens.

Three skulls - Kills you. (Mean)

Three chips/coins - Awards a coin. Chances depend on whether you missed 1, 2 or 3 coins.

Roll credits

Overall thoughts

CASINO BLITZ is one of the best megacollabs that Geometry Dash has ever seen, and wholly deserves its Legendary rate, if not a Mythic rate.

Gameplay - 9/10

Visuals - 10/10

Song rep. - 10/10

Overall - 29/30 or 9.6/10

(Though I'm rating everything 7/10 and difficulty 77/100 here for the funny)

This took 35 minutes. 873 words
