The thing I like the most about this level is how it might be the only 2.2 level so far to actually pull of switching songs midway through the gameplay well (from what I can recall at least). I also like the use of the almost forgotten 2-player mode, even though it's sparse. Surprisingly, I didn't mind the sound effects too much as well. They could be toned down a bit for sure, but I do think they fit the level.

As for some of my complaints, I think the level leans into the realistic style a bit too much, especially at the last part. It still works a lot better here than it does in other levels, but it could have been handled much better. The use of the Menace song for the first 40 seconds feels a bit odd. I mean, it was literally made for Menace, so it obviously won't fit as well here. Lastly, I didn't like the short part that connects between the predrop and the drop (starts at 1:08 in the showcase). It looks fine gameplay-wise, but is visually really disconnected from the rest of the level which took me out of it.

All in all though, this level is still great! I never heard about Execher before, so I'll be looking out for their works from now on. I also might update the rating if I do play it eventually, as honestly the level looks really fucking fun.

Edit: it was
