Haven't played the predecessor by the time of beating this, but this is a pretty decent flow level that is good for practicing flow gameplay. Meaning that it's very focused on practicing and you'd have to learn were to click at the exact spots needed. It took me time to get use to myself but I did end up enjoying it quite a lot. I did notice that the music sync isn't all that consistent and 60-68% felt a little weird compared to the other parts. Also the 2.2 additions weren't very necessary and can a little distracting for how obvious an addition they were. But other than that I like this one for what it tries to go for. Go for it if you are into flow gameplay.
