Usually I can’t find any enjoyment out of humor as repulsively obnoxious and self-servant as this, especially when said immaturity becomes a detriment to others. But you know what? I think there’s some positive to the shock value presented here, it’s a cultural relic that makes reflecting on the social dynamics from former time all the more accessible. Keep in mind that this isn’t some obscure shitpost, it’s made by jayuff of all people and he’s absolutely naked to his revealed character here, it’s sincere to both the internal and external factors that shape his 2019 personality. What makes the level funny, at least to myself, has nothing to do with the actual gags and instead focuses on the absolute lack of self awareness as well as the more intentional provocation. Fellow community members are needlessly thrown under the rug and overly suggestive themes somehow manage to evade the rating policy, it’s mostly harmless work but my god is it insulting to some degree, the dumb sheep and emoticons are not even trying to cover his true intentions and yet they’re there. I like art that’s earnest and coherent over anything else, it’s hard for me to be disappointed by what’s delivered here, preferably it wouldn’t have been starving for attention but who’s to say it’s being any worse than the mostly robotic communication of our very own environment online
