This is just a very cringy addition to Tinraz's catalog. To be fair, I never really cared that much for his levels, although his recent works had some rare moments that I really admired. NEW WORLD showed huge artistic evolution from his style, and while I thought many people overhyped it it was certainly his most ambitious work. el stndrs d was a very neat design level too...
How do you go from those highs to this?? It genuinely just feels like Tinraz quit and someone took over his account and made this level. I know that didn't happen, because the modern bits in the level do resemble some of his past work. The concept itself is not very original to start off, but even then it just looks like it's made to appeal Nexus' fans (clearly it worked since Nexus uploaded this). I know it's a silly level made for fun but it's just so cringe, I'm sorry.
If we move on to the technical stuff it doesn't get much better. The visuals are pretty barebones, the pauses aren't even well done (there are objects moving inside the screen while it's paused). I guess I can give credit for the homepage since it looks pretty good but again this concept has been done many times before and so so much better.
The thing that triggered me the most was the last bit. Why is the last video showing the level itself.... yet it's a completely different level? It's so contradictory. The only saving grace that this level could've had would be a fourth wall break of some sort (like, the video of the level showing the previous videos? that would've been so cool to see).
Honestly the only reason I even got up to write about this level is because of the epic rating. Not that it shouldn't have got it (it still shouldn't have), but considering how much Tinraz seems to care about them (didn't he almost quit after new world got only featured?) I'm very afraid that he's gonna take the "alt rock band goes mainstream pop and gets more success so they continue to make more garbage pop" route and keep making levels like this. I hope that doesn't happen and we get more ambitious works from him again. And if it does happen, I hope he stops showing the humor of the average Nexus viewer.
