the reputation system is nice , but there should definitely be a way to either add people as a friend or follow them .

we already have user interactions like the former as well as comment boxes on user profiles , so this is the most logical next step . i don’t think this site needs to be something like letterboxd but at the very least a follow system would help lots of people find each other on here

also not fully necessary but being able to see friend/follow ratings and reviews at the top of whatever level you’re looking at (similar to something like what rateyourmusic does with its friend ratings/reviews) would be neat

I agree we need a follower system.

I have the grinder mindset so I want to see numbers go up as much as possible. Boosting my Hyperbolus follower count is sure to give me purpose in this short life.
