if the pacers win this series they need to be given a nickname. we still call them the "We Believe Warriors" for a first round upset so if the pacers win the league after consecutive rounds of miracle comebacks and massive upsets u better believe they are getting a nickname cuz they are playing the most exciting brand of basketball since lob city or the late tim duncan spurs

its hard cuz the first letter P is so hard to work into a satisfying title. streets (reddit) are saying pacemakers for their high tempo and heartrate-rising clutches but idk its not that iconic. been workshopping the "zero to sixty pacers" cuz theyre named after racecars and they go on spontaneous scoring runs but it feels pretty artificial

demon time pacers and haliban are iconic of course but aint nobody gonna be calling them that in 5 years
