hello hyperbolus residents or tourists or anywhere in between :] there's a lot of consistent debate over the efficacy of building your geometry dash levels on mobile vs steam but for quite a few reasons i'm encouraging myself to transfer over to my laptop to build, and i'm finding it really difficult, mostly because of the following:

- i don't know a lot of the keybinds required to do much more than use my cursor to emulate my two thumbs, which is clearly heaps slower. i'm aware this is the primary problem, and that there's rebinding, but that still leaves questions: are there optimal bindings that differ from the default? any i should learn quickest/slowest?

- elaborating on the cursor-emulating-thumbs thing, i've found it super difficult to break, for example, the habit of spam switching between the build and edit tab with my left thumb. i will do this when i'm done configuring essentially every object. has anyone else had to adapt to a different style of navigation? my biggest problem is trying to optimise mouse movement when there are so many god damn buttons on every corner of the screen. again, might be a keybind-related alleviation but i struggle to see how having Two thumbs doesnt make building unanimously better

- any mods i should know

general learning tips would help cause lowkey . im like, bad bad at this and ive never seen anyone complain as hard as me granted that all of my complaining is all in my head and vastly outspoken by other things very quickly

Tips for creating on PC:

I transitioned to PC less than a month ago, and I just try to aim for the buttons using the mouse. The only keybinds I use are WASD, arrow keys for editor layer switching, 1, 2 and 3 for build, edit and delete and Shift for swipe mode. This may be a bit inefficient, but it actually does the job quite well
