Hi everyone :)
Here's another question from me : since this site allows us to rank a level's difficulty out of a hundred , i was wondering what's your own difficulty lader ?
( If you don't understand what i am saying then you'll understand by looking at mine )
Here's mine for :
N/A : Challenges
0 : Auto
1 : Easy
2 - 3 : Normal
4 - 5 : Hard
6 - 7 : Harder
8 - 9 : Insane
10 - 19 : Easy Demon
20 - 29 : Medium Demon
30 - 49 : Hard Demon
50 - 69 : Insane Demon
70 - 94 : Extreme Demon
95 - 99 : List Demon ( top 150 )
100 : Impossible
NVX
0 - 100: never used
lmao

In the rare case I do use the difficulty slider, anything below demon receives its star value and anything above is just whatever I feel like. I think a slider like the one on this site is kinda stupid tho since people have such wide inconsistencies in the way they use it. This results in the average difficulty score a level is given being just about meaningless. ig a similar argument can be made about level quality scores too but those seem to be a bit more consistent except for a few outliers.
Mine is on my profile, but the way I use it, 0/100 is auto, then I have five notches for every non-demon difficulty by star rating, and demons get 40/100 and above, with two notches per GDDL tier until tier 31, at which point everything gets a 100/100.
Long ago, back in the pre-7ak days, the vision for the difficulty slider was that some sort of rating system would form by consensus as the site gained users. Looking at the charts, it doesn't seem like that's happened yet; although there's hints of order, there's also some wild fluctuations, especially if you scroll far enough down the list.
the problem with that is, we haven’t formed a consensus so nobody really uses it so then we can’t form a consensus.
