Rating Curve

I think this level is quite overrated by community insiders. The first minute is spectacular, I love the way traversing the barren afternoon desert feels, but afterwards I think the level just slowly gets worse. Visually, it just straight up gets uglier in my opinion, especially as the sense of depth from the first minute is lost, and by the end I think it just becomes boring and generic. I find the narrative quite boring as well, especially since nothing interesting is really done with it. The theme being that Egyptian hieroglyphics are some kind of alien language and aliens built the pyramids is lame.

The colors and pulses already give this level great music rep, but the unique and varied structuring and composition make it absolutely entrancing.

I've never found this level particularly evocative, and I don't love the song either, so that probably doesn't help.
