Alright, alright. Something positive for once.
Compared to hanabi, this one I actually know the two contrasting themes (well... part of it is because LightPotato made a "How I build" video about this level), being the contrast of both The Yandere, and Killbot, which makes for an interesting mix imo, and its topped off with the fact that the level is also named after the ILOVEYOU computer worm all the way back in 2000.
The gameplay is pretty good too, although the 2nd half is definitely noticably harder than the rest imo. But that's also because the nature of the level starts to get more chaotic the more you progress, so while it does make it harder, contextual purposes definitely make up for it a little bit.
Overall though, yeah. Really solid level. It does share the same rating as hanabi, but it's more leaning towards the 7.5 territory.
This honestly falls into the category of "So bad, it's good." Like, no denying that everything about it is abysmal, but I am starting to understand why people like it. I honestly started liking it myself as time went on (I was one of those kids that didn't get the hype around it in 2017. Take a wild guess as to who's video I watched and agreed with their opinions on at the time) and a part of that is most likely due to age.
I don't think the other levels in the series nor it's decorated version could compare to how interesting this level is by itself. It's truly an iconic impossible level, now becoming a former one thanks to the fact that Zoink has it in two runs.
Yeah okay, I am very uncertain about how I can give my opinions to this. I wanted to like it like some other people, and I really do think the decoration is really cool. But a part of me feels as if it isn't concrete enough, and I would need to resort into playing the level so that I can get a better opinion on it. I guess this could be a case where I think it's cool, but it's not really for me at the moment, but idk. This is a really weird case for me, and I didn't think I'd be this conflicted over a level that the community really likes. I guess I'll need to think about it more.
Wasn't so sure about what rating I would give this level. Kind of a bit of a tossup, but I think a 7 fits best. Gameplay is pretty good, usage of samples we're interesting, and I do like the idea behind the theme, but aside from that though, there's not much I can say about it.
