Rating Curve

Nothing too out of the ordinary with this one. Just a simple design level with some fun gameplay, and a bouncy feel to it. That's all there is to it.

Welp, for 400 reviews, here's me reviewing a level in which... I am surprised I haven't reviewed yet until now.

One of, if not, THE most iconic levels to exist in game. It is a level of it's time, a level that everyone has heard of. It is one where a lot of newcomers would come to when starting the game. And to this day, it still holds up very well.

It's also one in which I wish RobTop went back to in terms of rating 2 stars that have more than 3 inputs. It does seem like Rob is coming back to that approach in some way with levels like Wistful Wilds, but there really needs to be more of it. Let's bring back these kinds of 2 stars where it has actual and fairly easy gameplay and it's more than 5 inputs.

I'll always appreciate this level for teaching you how to do the Dash Orb Slide mechanic. Probably one of my favorite mechanics that's been utilized in platformers.

I do like the level, but I honestly feel as if there could've been something a bit more with the rooms you're traversing in. Maybe more rooms. I don't know. Very impressive on a technical standpoint, but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of it's gameplay.

I give this a Loaf out of 10 (If I could actually give it that... so I instead have to settle with a 7)
