Quite the fun level I gotta say. It's a nice little nod to the sonic series while having some form of originality, and the gameplay is pretty balanced for an entry extreme.

This level is absolutely stunning. Lots of creative ideas, plenty of subtle details, and really makes good use of the invert triggers. Very deserved of the Legendary Rate. But god damn, there's some parts of the gameplay that are incredibly awkward. The Robot most especially. Lots of quick clickings and specific timings. Like the part at the robot where you have to time the blue/green orbs, it's pretty easy to overclock the 3rd one, and that's part of the reason as to why I took so long trying to beat it. Aside from that, there were a lot of specific timings, and the ship part, while it's mainly fine for the most part, it'd be a lot better if this was the older ship physics and not the 2.2 ones. But again, it's mainly fine for the most part, and I didn't really have a lot of issues with it.

Although I think the gameplay could've been better, the level overall is still incredibly cool, and I would still recommend it if you're looking for a starter extreme that's not incredibly easy like The Super Hotdog, but also not something that is the common joe like Acu.

Honestly, the difficulty in this leans between the 8 - 9, but the gameplay (at least in my opinion) is pretty good. And in terms of visuals... all I can really say is...

Despite my issues with Wherwin, I can't lie, this level is pretty solid.

I don't hate Button Masher as much as other people do. In fact when I finished playing it despite making the ranking video earlier, I placed this level at 3rd in the level ranking.

Really a lot of people seem to have issues with the rating, as the deco kinda pales in comparison with all the other NCS x GD Event Levels. While I can understand that the Legendary Rate makes more sense, I honestly didn't mind it being Mythic even if it's because of the context. But after watching DubstepJoltik's video where he ranked them, I can definitely see it more now. This definitely feels more like a celebration between the two as there's something that resembles both of them. (The arcade feel and fun soundtracks with NCS, and the pixel style with GD) You can still make the argument that this level is still Legendary or Epic worthy despite this, but again, I could care less. The gameplay is honestly pretty fun too. I really don't know why people have an issue with it when it's honestly the most readable amongst the NCS x GD Levels, lol.

But yeah, Button Masher still was a pretty fun way to end off the first NCS x GD Event.

I don't think this is as good as WannaCry, but I do think it's still a solid level. The comet bit is surprisingly readable and plays rather well. The emulation part where it calls back to other Space Gauntlet entries, while honestly super condescending considering that the chances of those levels being in the gauntlet were uncertain/unlikely, it really is a nice way to cap off the Space Gauntlet contest as a whole. The song cut though is honestly bad. lmfao. That could've been done better imo.

This is a level in which I don't mind seeing in the gauntlet, but I can definitely see people having a lot of issues with the level being in it due to the fact that the level is incredibly flashy, making the gameplay a lot harder to sightread.

I mean... It's Death Moon. An old level that definitely still holds up to this day. Visuals for it's time was pretty good, and the gameplay is rather solid.

Definitely FunnyGame's most iconic works.

Hear me out... I think this level is quite fun actually. Absurd considering the everything that is going on throughout the whole level and you can NOT see anything because of it... but I like it anyway. I know not many people can really like the level because of the fact that there's too much stuff going on, but that's the point. The level is quite literally called Absurdia, which contains the word "Absurd." That's the whole point of the level, and I think the decorators did a good job pulling that off. Top it off with very well synced gameplay done by xVoid, and you got yourself an Easy Extreme... somewhat. I really wanna try to beat it at some point, it is quite fun doing some runs.

Edit: I beat it. The score is still the same though.

I consider this to be a massive step up from Rage Quit, and this is something that I recognize Bli for. While Rage Quit had more of an interesting idea, it really lacks that Bli feel he had in his other levels like Change of Scene and Absolute Garbage. I get that Rage Quit was made for a cc where the idea is just to make Stereo Madness visually appealing, but that's not gonna justify how I felt with the level. The hate is understandably justified, but I don't really see that as the worst thing in existence, even if a Polterghast tells you otherwise.

Now with Final Orbit? Again, a massive step up from the previous level. This level has that Bli feel Rage Quit wish it had. Far from Bli's best work imo, I'm honestly still waiting for something that can beat Change of Scene or Absolute Garbage, but this is still pretty damn solid level. One thing I really like about it is that they got mordroc to make the gameplay, and as such, the gameplay flows pretty well. Honestly, the next official CC or any other CC you parttake in, if you do not feel confident into making the gameplay, get a gameplay creator to help you out. They know more as to how to make a level properly function and flow better.

I obviously can't talk about Final Orbit without mentioning the opening cinematic at least once. If MSM were to go ahead and make a full on movie (not full length obviously) with the knowledge he had when he worked on Final Orbit, I could guarantee that can get Mythic (Mythic Auto to be specific). This is way too good for it to be in an actual GD Level. 3D modeling, Ray Tracing, Dynamic Lighting, the works. If it can fit with the features the 2.2 editor has, it can be possible.

In short, yeah... Final Orbit is really solid.
