Now THIS is a hell level that I really like. It's meant to represent the 9 layers of hell from Dante's Inferno (I don't know about the game myself). I really like the natural progression of descending deeper and deeper into hell. Gameplay is pretty fun, and while the deco is more purple than it is red, I think it correlates with one another pretty well for a hell themed level.
Also, the animation of the player burning in hell is pretty funny. You've managed to make it... but your ass is still gonna die.
I can handle 10 minute long levels... but this level is incredibly slow. It's so easy to get bored of it due to the incredibly easy gameplay, and it gets incredibly frustrating when you die somewhere far.
At least it looks nice...
Gotta agree with the folks right here. This level is very much overrated, but it's still a good level tbh. Would not recommend playing this if your photo sensitive though, cause holy crap.
Realistically, all I can say about this level is that it's pretty cool. But admittingly, there's nothing in which I can consider it engaging. Pretty high quality, gameplay is pretty good, but that's about it for this level. I agree with the review below me that it makes it hard to stand out with the other entries that go for this approach.

Quite the fun level I gotta say. It's a nice little nod to the sonic series while having some form of originality, and the gameplay is pretty balanced for an entry extreme.
I've always liked this level ever since I first played it. I've always wanted to improve on duals, and this level was seemingly the perfect level to go ahead and improve on that skill. Now whether or not I've actually improved is dependent on how well I can do duals with sightreading in mind, but I definitely think I've gotten a lot better at them. I highly appreciate duals, even asymmetrical ones.
I remember seeing this back in the day. I thought the level was pretty cool back then. Now I just think it's alright. I think it'd be doing itself a lot of favors if the indicators for the bossfight were present and the attacks were not as instant as they are. That heavily affects the overall experience.
Not very engaging imo. It's made to be a collection of other media, but the idea is not very well executed. It also overstays its welcome with the gameplay. Like... change something up please..........
