Tiny Fingers by ThiKn is a level I've seen a few times before. It draws clear inspiration from 2003devin, specifically from his older, more simplistic style seen in alika and the like. Random art scattered across the level, mechanical pistons, the single-lane breakable block gimmick, the monochromatic colour scheme, and the last ship part with the many Clubstep monsters mostly reference 2003devin's past level alika.

While the similarities between alika and Tiny Fingers are inarguable, it does make some attempt to distinguish itself and carve a unique identity for itself. The block design does not consist of metallic blocks, instead outlined solid black structures are used alongside them as well, creating a nice contrast. The block design in Tiny Fingers is also overall far less detailed than alika, but retains stylised detailing within the block design. This twist on a factory-themed level (traditionally executed to be much rougher around the edges) is something i have rarely seen and is commendable. The addition of simple middlegrounds and backgrounds also is a nice touch and improves the cohesion of the level and its ideas.

Overall, despite the heavy inspiration from 2003devin's earlier work, but alika especially, I do think Tiny Fingers somewhat differentiates itself from it, especially in the second half of the level where more unique gimmicks (much lesser / never seen in devin's levels) like blocks detonating, the raising platforms and memory gameplay are used. Hence, I do not believe Tiny Fingers can be considered (or was intended to be) a direct upgrade to any of 2003devin's older levels, but as a standalone level that holds up quite well on its own. Reducing the reliance on gameplay and deco elements from devin for future works would allow them to stand out as more original, while only being faintly inspired by devin, which would reduce the likelihood of one considering them as simply a copy of 2003devin's gameplay and decoration style.
