Return 420 is a whole masterpiece and it clears most well known experimental levels, it's just unrateable cause of the gameplay lol

If I ignore the fact that the gameplay is a bit awkward, this is just about the best thing anyone could've realistically made with the pre-1.9 editor. Despite its impressive download count, I don't think this level gets remotely the amount of credit it deserves

From my video: "I think this specific level perfected the art of chaos. There's such a panicked feeling in the entire level that I've never gotten from any other, it's kinda like if the world was ending or something I can't really describe it. The song definitely helps a lot here, which- I'm surprised it's even allowed on newgrounds cause it's a near identical cover version of a song that's not on newgrounds, but anyway this cover sounds extremely distorted for some reason. I can barely make out any specific tones aside from the vocals in this newgrounds version, but like I said - that happens to fit this level perfectly. Ownselfduggedgrave doesn't really miss in any regard - the colors are great, I've never seen a level rock desaturated color palettes this well, the effects are great, cause the level somehow looks chaotic but pretty clean at the same time? I don't know how that works, the progression is great, the gameplay is pretty damn good too. If you're looking for a first medium demon to beat, try this one... and also let me know if you actually succeed cause that would be really cool. If you're not looking for a first medium demon to beat, well play it anyway. If you've already beaten it, well play it again-"

I like fictional scenery that is completely unlike anything that exists in real life, and Made in Abyss is one of my favorite franchises. This level is a good adaptation of it, and after getting a couple of updates, I have basically no issues with it, though the level definitely would've been even cooler if it actually put some focus on the whole verticality aspect, which the story is entirely based around. 91/100

I like the underwater theme and Aquamenti is my favorite level with it. Very nice atmosphere. 93/100

Have you ever seen a level that was clearly made by an amateur creator yet they've put a disproportionate amount of effort into it? That's one of my favorite categories of levels, and Fifqo Waterfall falls under it. This is purity in GD form. The level also has many easter eggs, achievements and a secret ending. 93/100

Furorem has a fascinating style and this is their best work. It's one of those levels that look so unlike a standard GD level that they sort of hit the uncanny valley. This one is a must watch for absolutely anyone. 93/100
