Rating Curve

Recently I rediscovered this banger level that unfortunately I've forgot abt its existence for a long time, seems like all of us also forgot it and im surprised that no one else has done a review of it here before.

I've always been a fan of memory levels and frequently these lvls uses effects or classic design decorations which are rly cool, but there's very few ones that uses an art styled decoration. This already makes sky island a very unique memory level but on top of that, the idea of having the same gameplay repeating 6 times while changing the gamemode each time (uses all of then except the ufo ;-;) makes it even greater imo. Its so well excecuted and its a very enjoyable experience to explore the different routes you can take (except one single click at the spider path which seems to have a buggy hitbox).

The way the environment changes in each lap adds a lot to the experience, my favorite ones are the snowy, the orange sky and the night time versions, but all of the 6 versions looks incredible and im surprised on how versatile the block design assets are considering that they look great with each different color pallete. One small thing that personally adds some value to the lvl is that icekeyhammer is a mobile creator, its not super significant but its a cool detail imo.

Im glad I remembered this masterpiece and I hope more ppl gives the attention it couldn't get back on its time, I still remember when mountain climb (by the same creator) got into the awards nominations but people forgot him after that which is pretty sad. Its safe to say this is among my favorite levels of all time (still love brownoix more idk how that lvl has something else over any other one) and lets hope more ppl enjoys it as much as I do.

One day a woman and her husband arrived the hospital so she could give birth. Once they met the doctor, he mentioned that they were experimenting with a new tech device that could transfer the woman's pain to the baby's father. The couple accepted excited to help with the experiment. Moments before giving birth the doctor turned up the device and sat it at 10% of its power, the woman was already feeling pain but his husband didn't feel anything, nothing happened. The doctor increased the power to 30%, nothing happened. The doctor increaced it once again to its maximum power but the husband didn't felt any pain. After a few days, the couple left the hospital with their newborn, just to find the milkman painfully agonizing in the floor next to their house's door.
