Rating Curve

A lot of jonathan levels are like the type of anime where the premise is genuinely good, gets stale halfway through and to combat this issue gets stuck with filler for half of its lifetime. Future funk had the opportunity to act as an amazing harbinger for vaporwave-based levels, it took 2 popular levels from a familiar past era and manipulated them to a point of respectful modernity and ecstasy, it's nostalgic and hip exactly like the aesthetic intends for. The first half of the level is iconic for how it continuously samples both levels and takes preexisting backgrounds/items to turn them into some crazy designs, it's only when the notorious Fate audio clip comes up that the level starts to go downhill. Immediately the visuals take a 180 and look much closer to jonathan's typical building style, the sampling is still done but much less frequent and not nearly as imaginative as before, these parts dont per say look bad or unoriginal as much as they miss the whole point a fair amount. The vibes are definitely present all throughout, but some more stylistic consistency wouldve done wonders
