Rating Curve

First review on here, so I wanted to start off simple with a funny little level.

Fig28 by awoobroj (now jorbettt) is a 2.1 level that takes a lot of inspiration from stubbypinata stylistically, and while it does boast some solid backgrounds for a less experienced creator at the time, many of the designs feel relatively flat and don’t match the intensity of the song all too well. The color usage is quite nice in my opinion though, they’re very cool and not overly flashy, but again, this does go against the energetic song a bit. The level also has a pretty random “boss,” but it’s just a short and goofy part, so it doesn’t bother me much.

Now moving on to the gameplay, I don’t think there’s too much to say about it. If you’re ignoring the major lack of sync, the level plays decently enough. It does flow quite awkwardly in the beginning, but the latter half is actually decently fun, albeit nothing too special.

Overall though, I would say this is a humble and charming beginning for a now excellent creator.
