Rating Curve

I think Yggdrasil serves as a better way to make a level inspired by Nifelheim. It's not perfect, but compared to this level it succeeds pretty well. This level just sticks too close to giving the original's decoration more polish, which seems like a bad idea since the roughness of Nifelheim (at least for today's standards) is what has given it so much staying power.

A pretty bad 4 level run from Black Flag to this- maybe the worst among all rated levels. They all kinda meld together as one in terms of style, gameplay, color work, etc.

Project Nexus might be the worst out of the four or at least tied with Jigsaw. I feel that Sewers by JAVP captures the type of vibe I feel would work for this level, much more than the teamcherry tier deco/gp employed by Nekon and co. Quite a shame.

This level feels like walking through Times Square or Dotonbori or any touristy commercial district, which is probably why some people will like this a lot more than I do. Even ignoring it being a cutscene auto, I just don't have any emotional attachment to what is effectively a template for an advertisement- which is probably why it feels so fatiguing to watch.

Muddies up a level whose main appeal comes from its clarity. I do find the usage of shaders at the end to be an okay idea for what it's worth.
