It's just good fun that exudes through every pore of this level. Not exactly a technical marvel but I do like a few neat flourishes in the first half that keep it lively, such as the unique structuring of the first ship and UFO, or the rotating rings changing colors one at a time when you move through the gravity portals. It shows a lot more care than you would think on the surface.
One of the first truly great 2.2 levels. My only complaints are with a few of the esoterics related to this level- for a level designed to go into blind there are a few really obtuse decisions when it came to puzzle design. If you're designing a level for a blind experience, I think it's best to rely only on vanilla mechanics as well as not put invisible stuff that you can't see while playing, which really bogged things down for me. Still, I think this level being as intriguing and inventive as it is makes it a great experience- it has one of the best endings to a GD level I've seen.
