TamaN's return to GD, albeit quite brief, was fantastic to see, and I'm glad that we were finally able to see this level come out after it initially previewed in 2018. This feels like a major step up from TamaN's other demon levels, both in terms of decoration quality and progression. A lot of their demon levels are a bit unfocused, but I like how this level focuses a lot on contributing towards a progression built around speed, starting with a cruising predrop, then getting to a drop that slowly accelerates before completely flying off the handle and blasting off. I'm praying we get more classic style levels from TamaN in 2.2 at some point, we desperately need that vibe that comes from levels like these to return.
I am so starved for good core levels nowadays so this was a delightful treat. Awesome use of player colors and I'm glad Tuna didn't go too out there with those move triggers and glitch effects I saw in early pre-release versions of the level. Both Tuna and S3rios have a good command over this style and its really refreshing to see it after MaJackO is washed, Loogiah is washed, and core as a genre is becoming sloppier by the day.
Save the Core Society. Tuna and S3rios!
