A trend you'll see with Presta's levels (aside from UNDERWORLD) is that he has a fantastic understanding of the parts that surround a level's climax- there's a great amount of knowledge and skill demonstrated with how he builds tension when needed and connects one idea to the next and this level is exemplary in this regard. The predrop here is just magnificent- building up more and more clutter as the song ramps up, and it alone makes this level so great. This is one of the few levels I think the wider community has properly hyped up, even if the majority of it is in praise of its drop, which I don't find to be as well constructed as the parts before it.
I have a special connection to this level as it's the first demon level I've ever beat. I've always had this fascination with this level despite it not really being anything too special- I mean, for a level named Saturn V, it's not a very cosmic level. The song also isn't that good.
But there's something special about this experience. I guess it comes with beating your first demon level, but I always love to come back to this level and play through some of the parts that are ingrained in my muscle memory. It's like home for me.
Very underrated level from GD's own Shaq and Kobe duo, TriAxis and TamaN. I'm a sucker for representational art that still maintains the visual identity of GD, and while I'm not a fan of the moving elements and 2.0 tiles, I still appreciate the vibe here, especially in the beginning of the level.
This is probably the level I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a first demon to beat. Just a fun, fantastic level.
One of the best intros to a level ever, and not only does that momentum carry all throughout the level, but the flowy and creative gameplay ensures that you'll also be in for a fun ride. TriAxis and TamaN are also a treat to see here- two of the few creators who were able to resist the limitlessness, obtuseness, and gaudiness that plague a vast majority levels released during this update, instead sticking to what just works. Overall, this is a must play for anyone, it's too fun of an experience to pass on.
