wonderfully executed theme, sits on the higher-end levels in terms of visual rating, but the average krmal gameplay kicks in and makes the experience more frustrating than appreciative
i feel like the easiest way to describe how i feel about this level is that this level doesn't feel like the finale to the trilogy, a lackluster epilogue.
compared to bloodbath, it fails to encapsulate the sense of domination; it feels far too underwhelming to bear the responsibility of completing the most iconic trilogy in the entire game
compared to cataclysm, it's almost identical. the progression, the design, playing this level feels just like playing cataclysm, it fails to provide an original experience
alongside with its other flaws (primarily balancing & some unnatural gameplay), it never really made me want to think of aftermath as the conclusion to the trilogy
probably the best 2.1 easy demon, solid gameplay with phenomenal visuals that serves as a great stepping stone
probably the best jonathangd level in my ever so humble opinions
the gameplay is definitely jarring every now and then with notable balancing issues & quite a few inputs feel unnatural but they're manageable
(also ff2 is easier than future funk)
this level feels just like a tutorial on what makes a level good (except for the boring ass ufo part in the middle)
especially the first ship part, probably one of the best sections in all of geometry dash both in gameplay & design
