I don’t think levels like this should be on this website unless they are rated (ex. How To Clutterfunk). Yeah this is an altered copy of Aleph 0, but the level wasn’t trying to be anything more than that.
Let’s put Blue Fingerdash on Hyperbolus and give it a 0/10 because it’s just Fingerdash but blue!!!
Levels like these are absolutely pointless in rating because they are nothing more than a result of someone playing around in the editor. “Adding 2.2 features to Aleph 0 ruins the entire point of the level” yeah and so does scribbling over any already existing level with terrible decoration, however, I would probably have just as much fun doing that as the creator did making Aleph 22.
My 10/10 holds just as little value as every 0/10 rating on this level’s page. There’s literally nothing to learn from this level 😭
If I was a more efficient creator and had the time, I would love to remake this level. The design style here is so fascinating to me for some reason.
I really love this creator, and the idea of this level is honestly really cool. However, this is probably one of the most boring levels to actually play. 😭
I am just not a fan of platformer levels that designate up/down movements to buttons that are meant to move the player left and right. And this level basically requires you to back and forth, grabbing pieces and putting them together which is absolutely tedious.
I probably would’ve preferred if the cursor was just controlled with the jetpack, and the player could just automatically pick up pieces if they got close to them instead of having the player manually pick them up with one of the jump buttons like it does here.
Levels like this honestly make me think RobTop should just give creators the ability to create their own controls for platformer levels. Like maybe RobTop could add optional buttons with graphics like a sword, up and down arrows, or a rotate symbol that can be added by creator, and the actual function can be up to them.
Minigames have existed for most of this game’s lifespan, and yet the main problem with most of them is that the controls SUCK. Giving creators the ability to map the controls to these projects would be the best fix to this problem as communicating good controls is far easier than communicating bad controls.
One of the most fun levels from this era of the game. Please try it out if you haven’t
this is how you bollardills, also math is blue
