Do not let the rating fool you, the level has a very special place in my heart
In the level I'm credited as a playtester, but in the original youtube upload on Rawin's channel I am also credited for providing several of my dreams for the level. Yes, at a certain point Rawin went around asking his friends about any cool dreams that they remember so I gave Rawin a short list of 20+ stress induced dreams and nightmares (mostly nightmares) and elaborated on select few in great detail. So here are some of my dreams that made the cut:
33-36%: lead pipe labyrinth located inside of a giant aircraft
37-38%: a towering purple giant who singled me out
48-61%?: a crying videogame cave
62-70%: futuristic mall with a secret rusted butcher shop in its walls (the butchery didn't make it in)
somewhere in 62-70%: there's a secret under the level of a van with free Creator Points, which was inspired by a rare geometry dash dream of mine in which kids were kidnapped when they took a secret way route in some random 1.0 looking level
79-83%: honestly one of the coolest dreams I had which I dubbed "the red horizon". to put in shortly, there exists a certain alternate reality space which is a few meters above the ground and exactly one storey tall. most people couldn't see it, but some could. the space manifested itself as an extension of already existing structures e.g. if it's a 6 meter tall tree, the horizon extends the tree to 8 meters, if it's a 10 storey high building the horizon would add an extra floor between floors 2 and 3 and people could live in this space and etc. the extension was visibly dustinct from the real world as it was indicated via red tint. in the dream I met some nice occult grandma and we had a fine conversation
It's honestly really cool to me that a good number of my dreams were manifested through geometry dash in such a fun and unique way, Rawin is my goat and wherever he is, I really hope he's doing well.
the creator maybe probably didn't mean for the message to come across as "your worries mean nothing compared to these big giant soulless celestial bodies", it could be a result of creator's attempt to tie their space hyperfixation with something more adjacent to the mundane in an attempt to make it seem more relatable to an average person, without reflecting on how poorly it was worded. the level was only made in like 2 days and I can imagine that the script was the least thought out part of the project.
my real issue is that the level can't hold my attention whatsoever, it is excruciatingly slow and I have 0 interest in watching a poorly planned out power point presentation about shiny sky spheres
since it went unmentioned in the reviews, the level didn't sweep Sea's contest solely because Platnuu submitted an unfinished version of the level, as he run out of time. in the older version, the level ended early and the drop was visibly rushed.
the final version of the level is quite easily one of the coolest extremes at the time and arguably still holds up pretty well!
