Has an energy and creativity to it that ZeroSR just never uses otherwise for whatever reason?? This level has so many cool ideas and bold choices in it that I can forgive the majority of its flaws, which just include a few weaker, less original parts and some lacking intensity in segments of the drop. I honestly don't know why he continues to pump out bland, desaturated design levels--they don't flatter his gameplay, which is often actually pretty good, and they certainly don't showcase any of the positive qualities of this level. Maybe it's the result of Arclia, who also chooses to build very bland levels despite serious artistic talent. Both of their levels also have awful cosmetic shader dressings that degrade the decoration even further. Anyways, this level is clearly very inspired by ilrell, but definitely has enough personality to stand on its own. I just wish Zero continued to hone and personalize this style instead of allowing himself to stagnate (his parts in Protoflicker and Twenty Four are also amazing, seriously, where did that guy go??).

Far and away the best quid level and the only one that matches Antichamber in terms of creativity. When quid first appeared, I never would have guessed that they would make the same glowy level a dozen times and every person in the world would call a different one their favorite, but seeing this level gave me hope that even the worst creators might have something valuable to offer. Of course, there are still the classic quid tinges of carelessness and laziness, like desynced elements that are clearly meant to match the song, gameplay that basically only serves to fill space, and reused ideas from previous levels. If this level was in the hands of a competent creator, I think it had a shot at being perfect.

This entire review was basically just an excuse to hate on quid while leaving a positive score. Sorry!

It's clear to see that the era of top player/creator hybrids is pretty well long gone, so seeing this level was an incredible breath of fresh air. I'm already a big fan of Zeronium's levels Crystal and Persistence for their gameplay, which is just some plainly well executed sync-based stuff but incredibly enjoyable nonetheless. This level doesn't stray too far from those in terms in gameplay besides from being much, MUCH higher CPS, basically making it more enjoyable by default for me (as clicking faster is automatically more fun, obv...), but the decoration is such an insane upgrade in terms of vibrancy and creativity. More than anything, this level is a testament to the real fun that people have with this genuinely good game, because it's easy to forget sometimes that both playing and creating are fleshed out parts of this community and the people who really deserve recognition are well versed in both. I don't know, it just makes me really happy to see this level and I had a really great time playing it.

I think I'm jealous of this level for expressing more passion in 3 minutes than I have in my entire life. After a life spent searching aimlessly for normalcy, seeing someone express everything I repress and so much more hurts in a lot of ways--I don't relate to most of this level, but I relate to the internal drive to be seen and understood as I imagine everyone does. I know it's hard to move past towards any initial revulsion towards this level but I really think there's something beautifully human at the core here that demands respect from me.

I used to really adore this level but I'm kinda over the design principle of squares--coincidentally, this level is maligned by a bunch of fucken squares

The atmosphere this once had has unfortunately diminished over time from a handful of factors, but mostly the position it holds in the wider community and the song inspiring nothing but discontented apathy.
