I wish this level had fun gameplay. Maybe it's my skillset, but this level is NOT fun. I'm still confused at how this has such a high enjoyment rating. Aside from the gameplay, this is a 10/10 level; the visuals are very unique and work with the music very well. The colour scheme and intensity of the decoration change a lot, which I think is a good thing in a level as long as this. Even from just looking at the level for a few minutes, you can tell that there was genuine passion put into it; something that a lot of levels lack today. It's a great mix of intensity, passion and song decoration that make up the decoration; it's just such a shame that I can't enjoy the gameplay.
This is what I think about when people say 'making a GD level should be about what you want'. In a way, it doesn't feel... real? Devin's mastered his style, and it makes for some of the more interesting levels to watch. Everything in the level feels so raw and unfiltered (e.g. going straight from the heaven part to a desert where human remains are used as a block design). Even if the level is needlessly graphic at times, that's part of the level's charm, and that's why I like it so much. 91/100 level, should definitely get a rate if the gameplay isn't complete bullshit.
Probably one of my favourite extreme demons, and just levels in the game in general. A 6 minute Radiohead extreme is... definitely an experience, to say the least. The decoration is amazing, I feel like most parts perfectly fit the intensity of the song at that point. Every part feels new and fresh, something quite difficult to do in a level of this length. As one of the few victors of this level, I had a surprisingly good time with it! Even though I died at 97, 95, and 87, I still enjoyed it. The last two minutes, despite being mostly slow gameplay, is more intense than you might think because of, well, nerves and the fact that it feels like it goes on forever. There's nothing really like this level, and I mean it. Just a sick level overall, 98/100 level.
This is peak song representation IMO. The organ at the start combined with the peaceful nature-themed decoration and then the mountains that come in with Thom's vocals is good enough, but then the starry part coming in after fading to black is genuinely amazing. It's a polarising level (mainly for it's gameplay) but I feel like it's more of a movie than a 3*. The two minute long black screen helps you just take the entire level in, followed by that crescendo of noise and what looks like a storm gathering on your screen. It has Radiohead, too, and arguably uses their best song. My favourite level of all time, didn't know any level was capable of making me cry when first playing it. 100/100 level, I wouldn't change a thing about it.
