Refraction Preview is the second level you visit while playing Over Again by PAHC the intended way. It’s noteworthy for being the only true impossible level in the Arg hunt (PAHC himself admitted to me it’s impossible)
You play through some old gameplay before the level starts noclipping and gives you the hints of looking for secret ways in Sepia by PAHC
Also mentions the lore of the secret rivalry between PAHC and cerufiffy as well as Gyre by Optical
The first level you visit while playing Over Again by PAHC the intended way. It features an auto cube corridor - but if you jump over a jump pad at one point you get a secret way that reveals the next step of the arg
Mostly noteworthy for inspiring the XXL Masterpiece PAHC Never Clear by WKGames
Very generic 2.1 level that somehow became the most viewed demon of all time due to the TikTok and YouTube algorithms.
I have seen people call the effects in this level some of the best of all time. I would agree the level looks very good aside from the epilepsy parts, and probably from a technical standpoint they are very impressive.
Unfortunately, the gameplay is a little too boring for my tastes. If you watch a layout of this level you’ll be surprised with how few obstacles there are (similar issue to the final ship in BER ZER KER)
That being said, the level is good for what it is and there are worse levels that could have gone as viral as this did
A very unique level that shows the one way invisible gameplay can be fun. The whole level revolves around the gimmick of going through an easy set of gameplay with more and more obstacles obscured with each repetition. The gameplay syncs very well with the song so even when you’re unable to see the obstacles, you have both muscle memory and audio cues to rely on
I have seen some people say you shouldn’t use practice mode on this level (Npesta’s GD Today Top 100 level review in particular) and I absolutely disagree. The level does get harder as it goes on and the final wave in particular always seemed like a roll of the dice in practice (the audio cues stop being reliable)
If you do give it a few practice runs, you should be able to beat this without too many issues aside from the final part. I got very lucky with this level and fluked it from 0% after practice. Normally that would give me a good impression of a demon, but in this case I think it was a genuine fluke and I’m just glad I never have to play this again as it’s a bit terrifying not being able to see the gameplay in a demon.
The level looks alright and is easily recognizable but nothing is outstanding. This works to the level’s benefit though as complex deco just would have made the gimmick more confusing.
The Nightmare is popular for all the wrong reasons. It is probably closer to 8 stars than easy demon, which makes it baffling how it got rated demon in the first place. As a result, this level became one of the most popular levels of all time simply by being one of the easiest demons out there, a perfect “free demon” for beginners.
That being said, the level isn’t that bad, especially given how old it is. The ball parts are pretty unique for their time and this is one of the few levels that uses the mirror portal correctly. The triple speed part at the end is a bit out of place, but otherwise the level flows well and is pretty consistent.
If not for being an easy demon, this level probably would have been forgotten, but it is still a good look at early Geometry Dash and there are much worse levels that could have taken its place as the easiest demon.
Level expects me to solve the Riemann Hypothesis for some moons
Sorry, I'm just watching WKGames' video "CODE REVEALED ~ Over Again by PAHC 100% - Geometry Dash (9 Moon Riddle, Check Description)" which can be viewed at the following link:
