Whenever i play this level i feel a sensation of despair that surrounds my player, something just doesn't feel right , its like the level is trying to tell me a story. It really feels like something terrible happened, that led to the events that we are watching as our icon travels this abandoned factory, filled with machinery that works by itself, full of dust from all the years of abandonment. But at the same time, theres beauty in it, its like machinery has found a way to fix itself, to function by itself, even despite being left to rust, theres hope someday someone will remember they exist.
The atmosphere this level pulls off is just unbelievable to me, i am not really sure why this level specifically hits so close to home, but it for sure works for me. One of the only levels that managed to get tears from me.
Slick and fresh.
There's something so satisfying about the simplicity that is portrayed within this level, the subtle beats of the song combined with just the right amount of response from the level is just so cathartic to me.
The entire buildup that the level develops until the final drop is so masterfully crafted i am left without any words, i may be sounding a little cringe but this level manages to do things i've never seen any other level do.
The gameplay is a main factor in my appeal for this level, everything just flows so nicely together, i understand why it may be risky to use so many orbs in ship sections, however, quid pulls it off flawlessly in all of the ship sections.
I literally have no complaints whatsoever for this level, this is as close to perfection that this game will ever come to.
